The residents demanded installation of fresh transform to overcome the power scarcity in the area. According to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the protesters said that the administration was not attending to their grievances and as such they were facing immense hardships “For the last one month, electricity is playing hide and seek with us as the transformer develops frequent faults that cuts the power supply to the area,” a protestor said. “PDP is turning blind eye towards our woes.
